Sacramento Kids Sing!

Our team of professional Sacramento musicians is seeking to enrich the community of our city with an accessible and fun singing experience for kids grades 4-8.

Our Approach

As students of music ourselves, we know the valuable learning experience that music can be for children, and the joy that it brings to people of all ages. As a non-audition choir, we accept kids with all levels of music experience so that no voice is left behind.

  • Day and Time - Tuesdays from 5-6:30pm

  • Location - Midtown Sacramento at Clara - the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing arts

  • Monthly Fee - $40 per child (only $10 a week!)

Our Home

CCYC meets in Studio 135 at Clara Studios/E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts in the heart of Midtown, Sacramento.

Address - 2420 N St #110, Sacramento, CA 95816

Directions to Room 135 -

  • Parking Lot Entrance - enter through the alcove in the brick building and make a left after the mural. Studio 135 will be down the hallway on your left.

  • N Street Entrance (Blue Doors) - go past the offices and continue on the hallway on your path. Studio 135 will be on your left.

Parking - The Clara center has a parking lot attached. It is free to park in on weekdays, so ignore the “Pay to Park” signs!

Meet the Team

  • Rebekah Brown

    Director

    Rebekah is currently majoring in Jazz Studies at Sacramento State and is the lead soprano of their Vocal Jazz ensemble, Vox Now. She is passionate about creating music with others and the power of harmony!

  • Madison Lee

    Director

    Madison is a graduate of Sacramento State, holding a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies as a Voice Performance Major. She is returning to the University this Fall to begin a Master’s program in Jazz Studies.

  • Danielle Perez

    Director

    Danielle is a graduate of Sacramento State, holding a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies as a Vocal Performance Major. She is an assistant director of the Vocal Jazz ensemble at Folsom High School and is a private voice instructor.

  • Alyssa Abbott

    Director

    Alyssa is a graduate of Sacramento State, holding both a Bachelors of Music in Classical Saxophone Performance and a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies, Saxophone Performance. Alyssa is also a private saxophone instructor and is in the Jazz Studies Masters program at Sacramento State.

  • Mary Miller

    Coordinator

    Mary Miller graduated from Stanford University with a double major in Economics and History. For most of her professional career she was a CPA and tax partner with an Oakland CPA firm. She has played the piano all her life and loves music of every kind.  As the grandmother of two Sacramento girls, she is enthusiastic about creating an opportunity for Sacramento children to sing and perform as a group.
